Offering support with personal care is one of the key services we provide. Often people resist asking for help as it touches on subjects such as dignity and professionalism.
Our caregivers are trained to offer as much support as you need and to step back when it is not needed. They are all employed for their caring nature and compassion. They try to recognise when someone feels awkward or uncomfortable and will go out of their way to ensure the tasks that need doing, are done with professionalism and dignity.
In many cases, assisting with personal care is just a small part of the care visit and caregivers try hard to gain the confidence of the individual, making it ‘just another task’ to be completed.
