“Thank you so much for helping us care for our Mum in such a caring and thoughtful way!” Mrs F, Deal

We have been using Inchwater Home Care to care for my mum when we go away for over two years. Mum and I like the flexibility of the services they provide. I can go away knowing mum is looking forward to seeing the carers. The carers are both professional and caring. A big thank you to the team. Mrs B, Folkestone

My mum has started having Inchwater Home Care carers in twice a day. They have been fabulous! Very professional, kind and hard working. They put mum at ease and just seem to instinctively know what needs to be done. We as a family, now refer to them as Mary Poppins carers. They are amazing and mum couldn’t be happier. Thank you. Mr CB, Dover District

I have no hesitation in recommending Inchwater Home Care. From the moment I contacted them regarding support for my mother, which was a vulnerable time for us both, the team were kind, caring and extremely professional. Their understanding, at this difficult point in my mother’s life, was absolutely crucial. They were extremely supportive and perceptive, comforting us both. The staff looked after my mother with great care and dignity, providing her with the ability to stay in her own little home, which was invaluable to her. They provided companionship enabling her to remain as independent as she could, accompanying her out on walks which she always looked forward to.
I am extremely grateful to all the team who were always available and ready to help in any way they could. Mrs SS, Dover

Our family has been consistently impressed by the care Inchwater Care Home gave our mother. Inchwater organised sessions for her, trips out, helps with shopping, long walks and just sitting quietly in her home. But when she fell, the carer took her to the local injury unit. They introduced personal care to a person who was fiercely proud and took some persuading but she came to really appreciate what they did for her. The carer sent her a postcard whilst she was away on holiday which made my mother feel valued. Later she suffered a serious stroke and the Inchwater carer visited her on her own initiative, at the stroke unit. Inchwater tailored a package of care to suit my mother’s needs and were extremely perceptive in assessing her needs throughout the weeks she was able to stay at home. Sadly our mother has now had to move into a residential care home but I am convinced Inchwater’s input allowed her to stay where she really wanted to be…’her home’. Mr RH, Studdal

Inchwater Home Care has been a lifesaver. I have found them all very approachable, friendly, and above all, professional in their care, support and advice.I cannot recommend them highly enough. Mrs DB, Deal

We have used Inchwater for almost 2 years to help assist with my mother’s Alzheimers and vascular dementia and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They have offered a very personal service for my mother and really treat her as an individual. The manager and the team have all really invested their time and efforts in allowing my mother to remain safely at home. Assisting her to maintain the skills she already has and keeping her in a manageable routine.
They have supported and encouraged her to continue to do the things she loves, like gardening and riding whilst showing compassion, patience and knowledge during her decline. I don’t live locally but I’m always confident that Inchwater safely manages her drugs and medical appointments, and most importantly my mother trusts and feels comfortable around them. Mrs MR, Sandwich

I have found all my carers kind, considerate and capable in every way and ready to go that extra mile. The management are all very careful to employ caring people and I cannot find any fault with them. I have already recommended them to a friend who is also very happy to be one of their clients. Mrs PF, Deal

All my carers have been helpful and kind to me. I would recommend them to anyone who needed help. Mrs GN, Deal

The staff are without exception kind, approachable and courteous. This applies to office staff as well as care staff who have been chosen very well to deliver personalized care without taking over. This service supports not only me but importantly my daughter who is able to now have more time to herself. The combination of my daughter’s caregiving and Inchwater Home Care services is enabling me to stay in my own flat. Mr B, Deal

A truly compassionate provider of care who go above and beyond every time. As well as providing outstanding care to my dad they have been there for me every step of the way and I can’t thank them enough. Mrs J, Dover

My husband has Parkinson’s and cannot walk. Care was provided at 8 am to get him up, washed, dressed (including shower) and make conversation. As his wife, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Mrs DS, Deal

Caring, competent, compassionate – Inchwater is a first-class care company. They provided palliative care for my father during the last weeks of his life when he was suffering from a devastating terminal illness. The carers were totally patient-focused, treating my father with respect and allowing him to retain his dignity. They wrapped him in a blanket of love, care and comfort and did whatever they could to alleviate his suffering and ensure his sense of well-being. They became friends of our family, supporting us all practically and emotionally during a very sad and difficult time. Without them, we could not have coped. Their commitment and dedication far exceeded our expectations and we are grateful for their professionalism in caring for my father and for their kindness towards him. With their help and support, we were able to care for my father at home until he passed away. In the days that followed Inchwater staff remained in touch to help us with our bereavement. Simply amazing! Mrs LW, Dover

Inchwater Home Care cared for my husband during December 2016 and January 2017. The care, compassion and expertise were second to none. They have my deepest gratitude. Mrs W, Dover

Inchwater provides care of the highest standard, yet also have time to support the family of their client. The staff have become friends to mum but they never lose sight of the fact they have a job to do. It’s always apparent that mum’s in charge and the carers do as she asks and not what they think she needs. The lines of communication are always open with the management and they regularly visit and review the situation. Most importantly, mum feels cared for. Mr G, Deal

Inchwater Home Care helped my family care for my terminally ill dad during the last few weeks of his life. In addition to the care provided directly to my dad, Inchwater supported my family with our routine day-to-day tasks, allowing family members to spend more time with dad than would have otherwise been possible. The professionalism and the compassion shown by each member of the Inchwater team were, in every respect, as one would wish for and expect under such circumstances. I would have no hesitation in recommending Inchwater. Mr W, Dover

I have been a carer for my Partner since 2013 since when he has been recovering from a serious road traffic accident. The support both of us have received from this company to help with his rehabilitation is of the highest standard both from all of the staff at the office and the person who has been allocated to be my partner’s support worker. There have never been any problems, nothing is ever to much trouble and the level of care is excellent. Mrs A, Dover

“As a registered health care professional myself, I can highly recommend the care team at Inchwater Home Care. We initially asked them to provide some companionship for my mother in law but soon after our initial contact, we found out that she was terminally ill. Inchwater Home Care cared for her when she came home from a hospital stay. They were compassionate and caring and communication with the family was excellent. We live 6 hours away but when she deteriorated, they stayed with her for hours into the night until we could get there. The level of commitment displayed by the Inchwater Home Care managers and the team goes above and beyond. Even when she was admitted to the hospice, they continued to visit out of the goodness of their hearts and they provided a huge amount of support to the family. The level of service they provide is not primarily driven by finance but rather a good old fashioned desire to actually care, Thank you so much to all of the team at Inchwater Home Care.” Mrs D, Dover

“The team from Inchwater have been caring and conscientious from the start. They are professional, supportive and provide an excellent service. Particularly helpful has been the fact that they ensure my husband gets the same carers – this means that they get to know his needs and are able to offer a consistently high standard of care. The company managers are pleasant, friendly and approachable, and are at the end of the telephone if I have any questions.” Mrs V, Deal

“The service provided was excellent at all times. My father was treated with dignity and respect by Inchwater. They were happy to assist with advice and answer my many questions even if my questions were not directly related to the care carried out by Inchwater. As a rule, I don’t write reviews of services but felt compelled in this instance because I am so pleased that my father’s last days were made as comfortable as could be and that he was able to die at home rather than in a hospital thanks to the existence of Inchwater.”. Mr M, Ash

“Inchwater have been providing care for my mother for over a year. We had an initial meeting with them, to discuss our requirement, followed by a home visit. This was the first time my mother had needed a carer and was very reticent and wary. However, she, and us were soon put at ease and a plan to care for her put into action. The carers are very friendly and efficient and do not need any cajoling into doing any work, they see that it needs to be done. I am pleased with Inchwater especially compared to other companies we have dealt with for my mother-in-law. We are confident to recommend them.”. Mr R, Dover

“Many thanks for all your patience and the good days!” Mrs W, Canterbury

“The service provided by Inchwater Home Care couldn’t have been better. They came as arranged each day at the time arranged and always the expected carer. I have very high standards and cannot fault their care. They really care for Dad as they might for their own relative. The carers always had time to stop and talk about concerns I had and help problem solve any issues that arose. I felt very supported in the responsibility of my role with Inchwater Home Care working so closely with me and I won’t hesitate to repeat the exercise”. Mrs S, Canterbury

“My husband has MND and needs physical care; he is also very determined. His carers respect his independence while ensuring that he comes to no harm. He also looks forward to their visits, and peals of laughter are a sure sign that all is well. For my part, I know the visits will happen when they are scheduled, so I can plan my day around them. We are so glad that Inchwater were recommended to us”. Mrs W, Addisham

“The manager assessed my mother and they agreed on a care package. This provided to be spot on with her needs. She allowed the same carers all the time which mum thought was very good. The carers have stuck to what they agreed and have become more like a companion and friend than just someone turning up to carry out some chores etc. We are all extremely pleased with her input.” Mr R, Ash

“I wanted carers who were punctual, responsive and good fun – I’ve found them!” Mr W, Adisham

“We knew we would have all of these emotional highs and lows but my mother’s safety and happiness is our priority. It helps so much to know we have such a superb team around us. Thank-you for all the extra support and care”. Ms F, E.Sussex

“My husband and I give our highest commendation for your wonderful work with us… it gives us both such a relief it’s unbelievable!” Mrs T, Sandwich

“The support and care they provide for families coping with a loved one requiring one to one companionship and/ or nursing care is excellent. We had their help recently when my husband was diagnosed with dementia and Motor Neurone disease, He was given amazing and thoughtful care and, importantly, respect was shown to him throughout his illness. We could not have coped without them, they were with us until my husband passed away and we all were so much stronger because of the support we were given. They go the extra mile and then some. Thank you”. Mrs F, Dover

“We feel extremely fortunate to have them in our area. They are THE BEST!!” Ms H, Kingsdown

“They are a wonderful service – I wish I had found them years ago. I will (and do) recommend them to anyone”. Mrs L, Dover

As the name suggests, this agency is dedicated to caring for the elderly in their own home. My mother-in-law lives with us (in a converted garage), she is 93 years old. A home helper comes twice a day and does all that is needed. We do not need to worry about her, the burden of care is totally lifted from us. The care agency discuss any concerns, are always on the end of the phone if we have concerns, adjustments to her care plan are easily and immediately implemented. My mother-in-law feels very much part of the family and her mental health has improved significantly since coming to live with us – made possibly only because of their superior care. Mrs B, Nonnington

Very reliable, friendly staff. Adaptable and trustworthy. They all give a very personal care giving and sensitive visit to our mum. Full of happy, relaxing, ‘cheerie’ and calming ways to give confidence and help us all provide a safe, encouraging professional and respectful companionship. Caring, watchful service for us as a complete family with excellent communication skills, but above all make our Mum as happy as possible and safe in her own home(and as our eyes and ears as we live away and care at a distance from Mum) – a big help to all of us. Mrs LF, Deal

The care this agency offers is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and their knowledge of subsidiary agencies, i.e. social services etc, is astounding. I had the same carer throughout who was gentle, caring and always pleasant. She was introduced to me personally by the agency owners so I didn’t feel as if it was a stranger looking after me. Would recommend them to anyone!! Mrs SW, Canterbury
