Vacancy for Care Support Officer
We are currently seeking an addition to our Care Management Team, to work alongside the Care Manager and Assistant Care Manager.
The Care Support role is an integral part of the Care Management team and it is expected that the individual holding the role will seek to progress to a management position within an agreed time-frame, depending on experience.
Inchwater Home Care is a small but growing company. As such, office-based staff are expected to be flexible in their approach towards their role and understand that other tasks may take priority over their primary duties on occasion.
The ability to connect in a meaningful way with clients and caregivers is an essential part of this role.
The Care Support position is currently part-time (30 Hrs/wk) but care duties are likely to require a full-time commitment (with commensurate pay).
Pay rates for 2018 are £19,864 (pro-rata) and an increase is expected on January 1st 2019 to £20, 800 (pro-rata).
As with all of our existing staff, we pay 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays), contribute to a pension and offer travel allowances.
This role is based at our offices in Dover, but the successful applicant will require transport to support clients and caregivers in the community.
An enhanced, current, DBS is required as is the desire to attain an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (if you do not already possess one).
