There are 965 home care agencies in South East England and the top 20 home care agencies in the region received an award from the leading guide to home care www.homecare.co.uk based on the home care agency’s recommendations from the people they care for, plus their friends and relatives.

Seperately, the UK Home Care Association recently feted home care agencies that have been rated by the Care Quality Commission as Outstanding at an event in London. Attending for the second time for Inchwater, Maddie Watts, Care Manager said “We have worked very hard to make a real difference to the lives of our clients and were recognised by the CQC for our efforts. To be honoured by the UK’s professional organisation for home care for the second time, has been a wonderful bonus”.
Speaking after the UKHCA event at the British Medical Association’s headquarters, Bridget Warr CBE, UKHCA Chief Executive, said “Your enthusiasm for sharing ideas and examples of best practice was great to hear. It represents a clear demonstration of why you have been rated outstanding by CQC, and is a real testament to your commitment to continually improving the way you support your care staff and your clients.
