Inchwater Honoured by UKHCA (again)

We are very proud to win the homecare.co.uk 2018 Top 20 Care Award! This award places us as one of the top providers in the whole South East region (2nd in Kent). We are hugely proud of our caregivers and office staff whose hard work has made this possible.

There are 965 home care agencies in South East England and the top 20 home care agencies in the region received an award from the leading guide to home care www.homecare.co.uk based on the home care agency’s recommendations from the people they care for, plus their friends and relatives.

Davina Ludlow, director of homecare.co.uk, said: “We felt the best people to say how good a home care agency really is, are those receiving the home care as well as their families and friends. Their recommendations show the warmth and excellent care that is given by so many home care agencies. These highly recommended home care agencies enable people to still live in their own homes with their home care workers often becoming their friend and lifeline to the outside world. Inchwater Home Care has proved that it provides great care and we’d like to congratulate it on being a top recommended home care agency in South East England! It’s a fantastic achievement to be recognised for being a highly recommended home care agency from the people you care for.”

Seperately, the UK Home Care Association recently feted home care agencies that have been rated by the Care Quality Commission as Outstanding at an event in London. Attending for the second time for Inchwater, Maddie Watts, Care Manager said “We have worked very hard to make a real difference to the lives of our clients and were recognised by the CQC for our efforts. To be honoured by the UK’s professional organisation for home care for the second time, has been a wonderful bonus”.

Speaking after the UKHCA event at the British Medical Association’s headquarters, Bridget Warr CBE, UKHCA Chief Executive, said “Your enthusiasm for sharing ideas and examples of best practice was great to hear. It represents a clear demonstration of why you have been rated outstanding by CQC, and is a real testament to your commitment to continually improving the way you support your care staff and your clients.

Paul Watts, Managing Director of Inchwater Home Care said: “We are absolutely delighted. It has been a fantastic couple of years for us, coming on the back of our Outstanding CQC rating, and is a real tribute to our caregivers who really care for the people they visit”
